About Ben:

Ben spent three and a half years A Star PR  – working his way up from Account Executive, to Head of Digital & Online and eventually to Director. He established the online department of A Star which quickly grew in to a market leader.

As Head of Digital, Ben facilitated many innovative cross-promotions between artists and brands, with his unique ideas and laser-sharp eye for new opportunities. Also devising successful marketing and PR campaigns for The Mighty Boosh Festival, Hop Farm Festival, Cornbury Festival, Benicassim Festival (Spain), Reeperbahn Festival (Hamburg), and artists like Deadmau5, Unicorn Kid and DJ Louie Vega to name a few.

Other experience of music promotion, marketing and PR includes online PR for Virgin EMI Records, marketing with Universal Music Group, through to project management, digital and marketing roles with smaller start-up initiatives. Ben has provided consultancy for independent labels and digital music companies, booked national tours, forwarded major events, and represented bands at international industry conventions such as SXSW and Midem.
